Lust and beauty

Perhaps lust is not what you do when you think someone is beautiful.
Perhaps it’s what you do when you fail to realise just how wonderfully, fearfully and preciously beautiful they really are.

Psalm 139:13-16 (in the 3rd person)

For you created their inmost being;
you knit them together in their mother’s womb.

I praise you because they are fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

Their frame was not hidden from you
when they were made in the secret place.
When they were woven together in the depths of the earth,
your eyes saw their unformed body.

All the days ordained for them
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
